Residing between Taiwan and Argentina, Josefina Tai’s work is characterized by bringing oriental poetics closer to a Western context. An Alumni of the Faculty of Visual Arts of the National University of the Arts of Argentina, she found her way between books and images.
Her work depicts a personal search, extracting questions within her body while answering them through words and poetry. Then she renders this process into a delicate visual narrative, creating a resting space for the viewer's emotions. Poetry is the reason for everything and illustrated books are her source of happiness.
Entre Taiwán y Argentina, habita Josefina Tai que se caracteriza por acercar la poética oriental a un contexto occidental. Licenciada en Facultad de Artes Visuales de la Universidad Nacional de las Artes de Argentina, terminó encontrando su camino entre los libros y las imágenes.
Su obra trata sobre una búsqueda personal, extrayendo preguntas dentro de su cuerpo y obteniendo respuestas a través de las palabras y la poesía. Luego traduce aquel proceso en una narrativa visual delicada, creando un espacio de descanso para los sentimientos del espectador. La poesía es la razón de todo y los libros ilustrados son su fuente de la felicidad.

介於台灣與阿根廷之間的畫家。畢業於阿根廷國立藝術大學視覺藝術系，目前為插畫工作者。最想做的事是畫出一本好書。
作品是生活的探索，從身體挖掘出問題，藉由文字尋找答案，再透過視覺柔和的敘述過程。善於在文字與文字之間創造出畫面，留下一點線索給觀者想像。
詩是一切的推動者，童書繪本則是快樂的泉源。
